The next shooting drill is going to help your balance. It’s super simple as you’re just shooting off of one leg from different spots on the court. The key is that you’re bending down so the ball touches the floor while on one leg and then getting up into your shot. Make sure you are taking shots off of both legs to simulate shots that may be leaning one way or another. If you think this drill is silly well the purpose is not to literally get better off of shooting on one leg because that happened very little in game, the purpose is to help with your balance because in a game you are not always going to be perfectly squared up especially if you’re taking 3s off the dribble. So do this drill to start being on balance with your pull-ups, fadeaways, and other shots that may require balancing or pushing off one foot more than the other.
