Next is talking on defense. You should be talking on defense all the time, but do it with a purpose, yelling and clapping for example is a good energizer for the team but it isn’t communication. If you’re a player who always guards the player bringing the ball up let everyone know you have the ball every time. Call out a screen every single time for the person being screened and let them know which side, if you are being screened let the player behind you know if you can get over it or need to switch. Lastly let your teammates know when you have help all the time, communication an be a huge difference in winning games and if your always talking, leading the team on defense, playing at the next level.
