Boxing out is the easiest way to get more rebounds and you should be boxing out your player every time a shot goes up. Do this drill with a partner to help improve the quality of your box outs. Put a ball in a certain area on the floor and leave it there. Decide who’s on offense and who’s on defense, the player on defense has to hold the offensive player for as long as possible before the offensive player can touch the ball. Continue trying to hold each other for longer than the last time. If you have a third player you should have them purposely miss a shot and the player on defense has to box out the offensive player for the rebound, if they get the rebound without boxing out don’t count the rep. You can all play first one to get x amount of boards
